What if children could do more than just play their favorite games? What if they could create their own?
At the Roblox AI Game Development Academy in Braunschweig, this becomes a reality. Children and young people aged 6 to 13 discover the fascinating world of game development and learn how to turn a creative idea into their very own playable computer game.
Using Roblox Studio, they design virtual worlds, develop exciting game mechanics, learn the fundamentals of programming, and explore how artificial intelligence (AI) can support them in their projects.
But technology is only part of the picture. The Academy also fosters logical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity, teamwork, and confidence in using digital technologies.

Five Missions. Ten Months. Endless Creative Possibilities.
The Academy program is divided into five progressive learning missions. Each mission lasts approximately two months and combines new technical skills with a hands-on game development project.
MISSION 01 | BUILD & CODE
Your First Game World
Children get to know Roblox Studio, create three-dimensional landscapes, and discover the fundamentals of programming. Starting with simple building blocks, they bring an interactive adventure world to life.
MISSION 02 | ESCAPE ENGINEER
Games Full of Challenges
Young developers design their own obstacle courses, puzzles, and challenges. They program game rules, checkpoints, timers, and rewards while exploring the exciting world of level design.
MISSION 03 | AI GAME DESIGNER
Where Creativity Meets AI
Artificial intelligence takes center stage. Children create stories, develop game characters, and use AI tools to expand their creative ideas and solve programming challenges.
MISSION 04 | MULTIPLAYER STUDIO
Develop Games Together
How can multiple players interact within a virtual world? Children design multiplayer concepts, create shared challenges, and program interactive team-based features.
MISSION 05 | INDIE GAME STUDIO
My Own Roblox Game
In the final mission, participants bring everything they have learned together. They develop their own game concept, design worlds, program features, test their creations, and present their finished projects.

Try It First. Then Take Off!
Is your child passionate about Roblox, computer games, or digital worlds? Then our Discovery Day is the perfect opportunity to discover the Academy.
During this introductory session, children explore the basics of Roblox Studio, try their hand at their first creative development challenge, and experience how exciting it is to design a game of their own.
At the same time, parents can learn more about the Academy’s educational approach, the five missions, and how the program works.
